On March 25th, 2025, Lead Project Developer, Joe Crowley, visited the Iowa Lakes Community College (ILCC) at their Dickinson County Campus to meet with students, give a presentation, and share more about the wind industry. ILCCs Wind Turbine Technology program is responsible for producing the next generation of wind turbine technicians in Iowa and beyond.
The Red Rock Wind team is dedicated to supporting workforce development and education in our partnering communities. The Invenergy Red Rock Wind Fund awards a $10,000 scholarship each year to five students enrolled in career and technical programs at ILCC. Once operational, Red Rock will employ up to eight full-time operations and maintenance staff, offering ILCC students the opportunity to continue living and working in the area.
