Invenergy celebrates recipients of the Iowa Lakes Community College Red Rock Wind Scholarship

The Red Rock Wind team, Iowa Lakes Community College (ILCC) Executive Director Dr. Dan Lutat, and Institutional Advancement Coordinator Tony Condon gathered at ILCC’s Estherville Campus to recognize and celebrate student recipients of the Red Rock Wind Fund Scholarship. Invenergy donated five $2,000 scholarships to career and technical education students across Iowa Lakes’ five campuses. Several students who attended and graduated from ILCC now work as wind technicians on various Invenergy wind projects throughout the state.

"We’re really proud to support the next generation of leaders coming out of Iowa Lakes,” said Lead Project Developer, Joe Crowley. “We appreciate the continual support from ILCC students on behalf of the Red Rock project and are excited to invest in homegrown talent and career opportunities right here in Iowa.”
